This EP started off as a bet. My dear, sweet, literary friend Shawn Anfinson said he could make me sound better than any other producer for a lot less. He also said I should play all the instruments. All db. No filler. I readily accepted his challenge, and wouldn't you just know it? He was right. We deliberated why that was and he suggested it was because he knew me better than any other producer. Touché. I wrote all the songs, sans one, Emily, which I co-wrote with Kyle Tooley, who is also the guy who designed my bad-ass logo (OK, so Mark Mosrie designed the logo for this EP by swapping the db star with a db heart-on). Suffice to say, it was great fun to make. And drums are hard. No wonder most drummers are douchey. Alas. The EP is done. It's chock full of db, and Songs About Girls. If you're one of them, thanks, congratulations, and I'm sorry.
